Scope

These terms govern your use of this website, which is operated by JNT Technical Services, Inc.. They are not terms of sale. Any purchase of equipment is governed by the quotation, order acknowledgement, and warranty documents issued for that order.

The Pyrometer Selector

The Pyrometer Selector on this site helps you describe your boiler or furnace and what you want to measure. It is a specification aid, not an engineering review: it works from what you enter, and it cannot see your furnace, your ports or your gas path.

Every unit is configured and calibrated to the quotation and order that follow. The suitability of a sensor and a mounting position for a given boiler, fuel and temperature, and compliance with the codes that apply at your site, are confirmed at that stage — not by the selector. Where you are unsure, call us before ordering; we would rather specify it with you.

Product descriptions, specifications, and performance figures on this site are provided for general reference and may change without notice. They are not a substitute for the specifications, drawings, and instructions issued with a specific order. Where a published figure and an order document disagree, the order document governs.

Installation and operation

Infra-View® sensors are mounted on boilers and furnaces and connected to plant air and to control-system signal loops. Installation, connection, operation and calibration must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with the manual issued with the unit and the codes and site procedures that apply. Nothing published here replaces that manual, and a temperature reading is an input to your operating decisions, not a substitute for them.
